BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – UPDATE
Virginia State Police is investigating a tractor-trailer crash that hospitalized two people and closed off all US-460 travel lanes Monday evening.

At about 5:21 p.m., state police and the Forest Fire Department responded to the scene and found a pickup truck lodged under a tractor-trailer near Owen’s Market.
Crews were able to lift and remove both people from the entrapment.
The two people were flown to the hospital and authorities say they are in critical condition.
VDOT said the crash was cleared around 7:24 p.m. and all travel lanes are open.

Motorists traveling along US-460 in Bedford County can expect delays Monday evening.
A tractor-trailer crash has closed all eastbound and westbound travel lanes near Blackwater Road and Route 668.
The Forest Fire Department reports that crews responded to the multi-vehicle crash to rescue two people trapped under the tractor-trailer.
