SALEM, Va. – A family favorite for more than three decades is making a comeback.
The Salem Fair is scheduled for June 30 through July 11.
Guests can once again enjoy dozens of rides, all the fried foods and live entertainment.
In addition to barnyard races and the popular Blue Ribbon exhibit, some of the new attractions this year include a hypnotist, cowboy circus and an aquatic acrobat show.
“It’s really the first big event we’ve had here at the Salem Civic Center since COVID shut us down, so we’re really looking forward to having people back on the fairground,” said Wendy Delano, Salem Civic Center director.
There’s no cost for parking and admission.
Discounted ride tickets will be available through a partnership with Northwest Ace Hardware.
Passes go on sale Thursday, June 10.
