VINTON, Va. – Friday night kicked off the 66th annual Vinton Dogwood Festival.
The two-day festival celebrates all things Vinton with music, food and family fun.
Because of COVID-19 though they’ve had to shrink things down. Friday night’s concert was limited to 200 people and they had to turn some away.
Saturday’s downtown street festival will go on rain or shine, although the annual parade was already canceled due to COVID19 restrictions.
The festival is the longest continuously running festival in the valley.
