FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has identified two persons of interest in connection with the recent death of a Franklin County man.
Jessica Blair Hiner, 35, and Maurice Allen Jones, 37, were both recently arrested on charges unrelated to William Kirk Odell’s death.

Hiner and Jones are dating and Hiner witnessed Jones kill Odell, according to warrants.
While both have been identified as persons of interest, at this time, no charges have been filed against either person.
“It was a senseless act that had no personal gain in it whatsoever. Nothing that can be done is going to bring him back or make things right,” Justin O’Dell told 10 News on Wednesday regarding his father’s death.
