Two adults, two children injured after Friday night hit-and-run in Roanoke

It happened at the intersection of Orange Ave and Gainsboro Road

ROANOKE, Va. – UPDATE

10 News spoke to the victim of the hit-and-run that happened in Roanoke Friday night.

The 26-year-old woman, who asked to remain anonymous, was driving the vehicle that got hit by a pickup truck with her boyfriend and two young kids in the vehicle with her.

The victim said she and her boyfriend suffered minor injuries while her 6-year-old daughter got a broken nose and concussion. Her 7-year-old son also sustained a concussion.

The woman said they’re all okay despite the situation.

She also disclosed to 10 News that her vehicle was at a total loss from the hit-and-run and that the driver of the pickup hit her vehicle twice.

Roanoke City Police are investigating a hit-and-run that happened Friday night.

Authorities said the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Orange Ave and Gainsboro Road.

Police discovered a pick-up truck with front-end damage a few hundred yards from the scene.

Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
