CARROLL COUNTY, Va. – A 21-year-old man died Saturday in a crash on Floyd Pike in Carroll County, according to Virginia State Police.
At 10:27 p.m., troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 2100 block of the road after a 2008 Ford Focus going north crossed the centerline, ran off the left side of the road, overturned and hit several trees, according to police.

Both the driver, Timothy Davis, 20, of Dugspur, and the passenger, Dakota Justice, 21, of Hillsville, were ejected from the vehicle.
Justice died at the scene, while Davis was taken to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
Neither person was wearing a seat belt, according to police.
Virginia State Police said charges are pending and that the crash remains under investigation.
