Authorities confirm that the victim of last week’s shooting at McCausland Ridge Apartment died on Saturday.

31-year-old Ricky Johnson, of Lynchburg, succumbed to his injuries from the gunshot wound he received on Dec. 28, 2020.
Police are still investigating the incident.

Lynchburg Police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday night at the McCausland Ridge Apartments.
One victim has been flown to Lynchburg General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries from a gunshot.
