DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - The Danville Police Department arrested a local man after he reportedly robbed another at gunpoint.
The incident happened on Tuesday, Dec. 1Â in the 600 block of Worsham Street.

A 31-year-old Danville man reported to police that he was robbed at gunpoint of his wallet and cash. The suspect left the scene on foot.
After receiving a description of the suspect, officers say they searched the area and located Rickey Savoy Carter Jr., 25, of Danville.
Carter was not armed at the time of his arrest. The male victim was not harmed.
Carter has been charged with robbery. He was taken before the magistrate and is currently housed in the Danville City Jail without bond.
