RICHMOND (WSLS 10) - Confederate flag Virginia vehicle license plates will be recalled by the DMV after a judge's decision to dissolve an injunction forcing the flag to be on certain specialty license plates.
Judge Jackson Kiser entered his order Thursday, officially granting Attorney General Herring's motion to dissolve that injunction.

Because the injunction has been dissolved, the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) announced it will begin recalling and replacing existing license plates with ones that comply with Virginia law.
Information on how the DMV would begin and execute the recall process was not immediately available.
