It’s that time of year again—Girl Scout cookies are back but we come bearing some bittersweet news.
The organization has announced that its ‘S’mores’ and ‘Toast-Yay’ cookies will be retired by the end of the year. S’mores cookies have been around since 2017, while Toast-Yay made its debut in 2021. But don’t worry, if that’s your go-to treat, you have time to stock up on both items throughout 2025. The cookies will be available in person at cookie booths or online via local Girl Scouts.

“Thin mints is obviously a national favorite, followed very closely by samoa, but they’re all really great and what I love is they’re all very different, regardless of whether you love peanut butter, chocolate, mint or even lemon there’s something here for everyone,” Nikki Williams, Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council CEO, said.
“Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world better place and this is one of those programs that gives the girls an opportunity to do that, right in their community,” Williams said.
