Governor Glenn Youngkin has ordered that U.S. and Virginia flags be flown at half-staff on all state and local buildings and grounds in the Commonwealth in honor of Peace Officers’ Memorial Day.
The day is in honor of law enforcement officers who have fallen in the line of duty, recognizing their sacrifices, as well as the loss suffered by their families.
