Krispy Kreme is trying to sweeten up how painful it is to fill your tank up at the gas station lately.
For the next four Wednesdays, starting on April 13 and ending on May 4, a box of a dozen original glazed doughnuts will cost significantly cheaper.

On Wednesday, April 13, a box of a dozen will cost $4.11, which is the average price of one gallon of gas in the U.S.
However, since the national average continuously changes, the cost of a dozen original glazed doughnuts will change weekly to reflect the new U.S. average price of gas.
Krispy Kreme says it will announce a new price for the dozen doughnuts every Tuesday on its Facebook, Twitter and website.
The offer is only redeemable on the following Wednesdays:
- April 13
- April 20
- April 27
- May 4
The original price of a dozen original glazed doughnuts retails at $11.49 in the Roanoke area.
