FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – The Franklin County Sheriff's Office held an active shooter course at Ferrum College today.
The course incorporated the latest tactics for law enforcement and public safety response to active shooter scenarios.
Virginia State Police, the Franklin County Department of Public Safety and Virginia Conservation Police also participated.
