Condition of two victims unknown

ROANOKE, Va.UPDATE

Roanoke police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old man in connection with the incident.

No description found

Ronald Bonds III was arrested at a home in the 1000 block of Dale Avenue, according to authorities.

Police say he was has been charged with two counts of malicious wounding.

We checked on Bonds' criminal record. He has both drug and gun charges in his past.

We spoke with the woman who lives in the apartment below where the shooting happened. She says she heard a couple gunshots and then the woman who was shot ran downstairs and knocked on her door, asking her to call 911. She says the experience brought back a lot of painful memories.

"I was recently attacked. I know I'm still terrified of a lot of sounds and stuff so I was just trying to do the right thing there I guess," said Bridgett Herron.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
