ROANOKE, Va. – UPDATE
22-year-old Roanoke resident Michael Cardona Santamarina died Tuesday morning at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
A 19-year-old man is in custody, and authorities are searching for a 22-year-old man in connection with Friday's double shooting in Roanoke.
Detectives have charged Monte Taylor, 19, of Roanoke, with malicious wounding in connection with the shooting in the 1300 block of Burks Street SW.
Taylor has already been served the warrant and is currently in the Roanoke County-Salem Jail.
Detectives also obtained a warrant for malicious wounding for DeJon Leslie White, 22, of Roanoke, in connection with the shootings.
Anyone with information on White's immediate whereabouts is encouraged to call 911.
Police say the other victim, Troy Savion Gastelo, 24, of Roanoke, is still in the hospital.

Roanoke police have identified the two men shot in Roanoke Friday at about 1:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of Burks Street SW as Michael Cardona Santamarina, 22, and Troy Savion Gastelo, 24, both of Roanoke.
Police say the victims were found in a vehicle and the shooting does not appear to be random.
Both victims are still at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives are interviewing possible witnesses and establishing a timeline of events.
There have been no arrests.
