Homicide investigation underway in Danville

DANVILLE, VA – Danville Police are investigating a hoimicde. 

Officers responded to a home in the 600 block of Shelton Street in reference to a home invasion after two Saturday morning. 

When police arrived, they found a male and female with gunshot wounds. 

Police said both were transported to Danville Regional Medical Center. 

The male was pronounced non-viable shortly after arrival. 

The female is still being treated, according to police.
