ROANOKE, Va. – For the seventh-straight month, the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport has seen an increase in passengers.
March showed a 4.5 percent increase in people flying out of the airport, compared with the same time last year.
More than 50,000 people used the airport during the month of March. It's the highest passenger demand for any March since 2012.
The cancellation rate improved as well, with a decrease of cancellations from this same time last year.
