Chizo Obi, Media General – (MEDIA GENERAL) -- Donald Trump, the man of a million headlines, needs no introduction. The Republican presidential nominee has been under intense media scrutiny since launching his campaign last year and spent decades soaking up the limelight in New York tabloids. We all know about Donald Trump, but what do we know about his family?

Fred Trump

It's quite fair to say Donald Trump learned everything there is to know about business from his father, Fred. Born to German immigrant parents, Fred was instilled with discipline and hard work. By the age of 10, Fred was already working as a delivery boy for a butcher. By 20, alongside his mother, Elizabeth, Fred started a construction company E. Trump & Sons, which took off. Donald has credited his dad's "small loan" of $1 million in help starting his now successful businesses.

Maryanne Trump Barry

Trump's older sister, Maryanne, holds her own weight in the Trump family as a Senior United States Circuit Judge of the Court of Appeals. She was appointed by former president Bill Clinton to the appeals court in 1999 and unanimously confirmed by the Senate. Maryanne, by many accounts, is well-respected among her peers and enjoys a more private life. Donald has gone far enough to express interest in nominating his sister to the Supreme Court but says she wouldn't be interested.

Melania Trump

Donald's wife, Melania, is a Slovenian-born former model, who has loyally stood by her husband and defended him through several sexual harassment allegations. She remains firm that her husband is "a gentleman" and "supports women."  Melania has been a more silent figure in the campaign and often stays behind on the campaign trail to tend to the couple's youngest child, Barron, 10.

Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric

Both running a business and running for president is a family affair for Trump. Trump's three children from his first wife, Ivana, are all listed as executives at the Trump Organization. Throughout his campaign, they have attended rallies, offered input in campaign meetings, and been key advisers on important campaign issues -- reportedly including the firing of campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.

Jared Kushner

Husband to Trump's eldest daughter, Ivanka, Jared Kushner has been a major player in the Trump campaign. Although Kushner has no official title, he has been a constant aide to the Trump campaign from writing speeches to advising Trump on his political image. Kushner also has an impressive portfolio as an active real-estate investor and owner of the newspaper publishing company the New York Observer.

Tiffany Trump

New York Times writer Alessandra Stanley has referred to Tiffany Trump as the "the B-list Trump, off to the side in family photos and missing from the campaign trail and that now-infamously spooky ad aimed at the millennial vote." As the youngest of Trump's adult children, Tiffany has taken on a smaller role compared to her step-siblings. However, she is equally as smart and driven as her counterparts. This past June, Tiffany graduated from her father's alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, and plans to attend law school. She gave a speech at the Republican National Convention and recently has been more present at campaign events including attending the Trump International Hotel grand opening.
