Orlando victim touched the heart of Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling

Rebecca Sapakie, Media General – (MEDIA GENERAL) - The names and stories behind the victims of the United States' worst mass shooting are starting to emerge. One victim touched the heart of one of the most famous writers in the world.

Luis Vielma, 22, worked on the Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios in Orlando. J.K. Rowling, the scribe of the famous Harry Potter series, shared her pain after learning of his death.

Rowling wrote, "I can't stop crying."

Universal Orlando Resort President and COO, Bill Davis, posted a statement after Vielma's death was confirmed by authorities.

"We are working to support his friends and colleagues here at Universal Orlando."

Another fan sent a message to J.K. Rowling saying that Vielma was a Gryffindor and there is a Slytherin still in ICU named Tony. Rowling offered her support immediately.

In all at least 50 are dead, and 53 more are injured after the shootings. The City of Orlando is posting the names and ages of victims as their families are notified.
