CHRISTIANSBURG (WSLS 10) – More than 75,000 pounds of paper was collected at the WSLS 10, Kodiak Shredding and Schewels semi-annual Shred-A-Thon event in Christiansburg Monday!
Hundreds brought personal documents to be destroyed - free of charge.

Monday's Shred-A-Thon was held at Schewels Furniture on Peppers Ferry Road in Christiansburg.
The next Shred-A-Thon will be in Lynchburg on November 16 at Schewels on 7007 Timberlake Road.

Three events are scheduled at Schewels throughout the commonwealth. People can drop off material to be shredded at these locations from 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.:
