ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The Berglund Center Coliseum has a new look that was unveiled Wednesday.
The coliseum underwent a nine-week renovation. There are new seats, fresh paint, section numbers, and risers.

The first event held in the new coliseum will be for Virginia Tech hockey games this weekend.
"It's really surreal," says Robyn Schon, general manager. "It's really hard to wrap my head around it because just three months ago or even 12 weeks. It was the 45 year old seats, the same look, and it looks like a brand new arena."
Schon says they'll be replacing the ice rink and scoreboard next.
