William Cabbler, 36 of Roanoke, plead guilty to multiple weapons charges in Roanoke City Circuit Court Monday. The plea was part of a deal which drops all other charges against him, including first degree murder.

As part of the deal, Cabbler will serve seven years in prison. He will also testify against the other defendant in the case, Demetruis Wade, who faces first degree murder and other weapons charges. Wade is scheduled to go to trial on November 16 at 9:00 a.m.

The shooting happened in January along the 3600 block of Shenandoah Avenue, at the former Obenchain's Garden Center.

Ronald Ramey and Leonard Hamlett were killed during the shooting. Nelson Sanders, Jamar James, John English and Kente Gilkes, all of Roanoke, suffered injuries from being shot.

After the shooting, Cabbler turned himself in to Roanoke Police. Officers arrested 39-year-old Demetrius Wade in connection to the shooting. He also faces many charges, including first degree murder.
