A hundred percent of the money raised at the sale will go to those living in extreme poverty around the world and in the Roanoke Valley.
Organizers say people are so generous in giving the items that are for sale.
"People just give stuff that's amazing, how people will give us items that I think ahhh you're giving us that, you know, said Roy Carter, Proceeds for Poverty Director. "One lady gave us $5,000 worth of stuff last year."
Once the sale is over on Saturday volunteers will start collecting donations for 2016's sale.
If you would like to support Proceeds for Poverty stop by Rainbow Forest Baptist Church at 1338 Rainbow Forest Dr. Troutville August 13th – 15th. Thursday and Friday doors will be open between 9 a.m and 7 p.m. and on Saturday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
