DUBLIN (WSLS 10) - The New River Valley Fair is happening all week until Saturday in Dublin.
This is a tradition that has gone on in the community since 1953.

Crews are expecting more than 20,000 people to come through the gates. The fair typically attracts visitors from across Virginia, as well as West Virginia and North Carolina.
There are discounts offered each day to bring in families who may be tight on cash this summer.
The fair wraps up Saturday with bull riding and barrel racing.
