PULASKI (WSLS) - The lifelong work of a Pulaski man is now drawing visitors from across the country to the town's Ratcliffe Transportation Museum.

Doctor Milton Brockmeyer, a dentist who passed away shortly after the museum broke ground, spent almost 60 years hand crafting a to-scale replica of the town of Pulaski from the mid 1900s, including its railway system.

Town leaders say this is now the largest working train model of its type in the nation.

The town model has attracted more than 1,200 visitors to the museum since it opened last year.
