1 dead, 2 arrested in Rocky Mount homicide

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. – An investigation is underway in Franklin County after deputies say a man was shot and killed.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says Allyn Riddle, 18 of Rocky Mount is dead. 

Deputies found Riddle after receiving a call from a family member Friday night shortly after 5 p.m. They found Riddle at the 400 block of Beechdale Road.

Aaron Seth Dean, 20, of Callaway and John Isaiah Hodges, 19, of Rocky Mount were brought in for questioning. After an interrogation police discovered evidence that led to both suspects being charged with second degree murder.
