The audition that earned her Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer is continuing to shine a light on the Liberty University grad.

In less than 48 hours after her audition, her original audition song, “It’s OK” is No. 1 on iTunes and her audition is the No. 2 trending video on YouTube.

Nightbirde, whose real name is Jane Marczewski, is from Ohio but got her start performing and writing while attending Liberty University, in Lynchburg.

“Lynchburg and that area of Virginia, those beautiful mountains, it’s where I found myself really and where I found my voice and it was such a launching pad for me and I’ll be grateful for that forever,” Marczewski told 10 News. “I don’t know where I’d be had I not started my music career in Lynchburg.”

“I have a 2% chance of survival, but 2% is not zero. Two percent is something and I wish people knew how amazing it is,” she said during her now-viral audition.

Based on her January scan, her cancer has spread; however, she plans to be back on “America’s Got Talent” when the live shows begin in August.
