PEMBROKE (WSLS 10) – Students at Eastern Elementary Middle School had a special opportunity Friday to learn about what they could possibly want to be when they grow up.
Eastern Elementary Middle School in Giles County held their annual career day which hosts a variety of speakers representing a number of fields of work.
Speakers included representatives from the Giles County Sheriff's Office, Giles High School as well as local nurses and cosmetologists in the community.
Giles County native and WSLS 10's own Rachel Lucas had the opportunity to speak to four classes about the field of broadcast journalism.
Students had the opportunity to record and conduct interviews with other students and even the school principal Jason Mills.
