In our region, we have two primaries on the ballot on Tuesday — the US House 6th District and Roanoke City Council.

Ben Cline and Merritt Hale are running for the Republican nomination for the 6th District. You can find more information on that race here.

For Roanoke City Council, Councilman Joe Cobb, Councilwoman Vivian Sanchez-Jones, Terry McGuire and Peter Volosin are all vying for the three spots on November’s ballot in the general election. You can find more information on that primary here.
