Virginia General Election results for select Referendums on Nov. 3, 2020

Votes on casinos, moving Confederate monuments and change sales tax are on the ballot for some voters

(WSLS 10)

While all Virginia voters will be voting for the offices of U.S. President, U.S. Senate and U.S. House, as well as two constitutional amendments, some voters will see different local referendums on their ballot.

In our region, these referendums break down into three different groups: Approving a casino, moving a Confederate monument or statue and making changes to the county’s sales tax.
