ROANOKE (WSLS10) - Something else coming to Roanoke, sir Elton John! People camped out at the Berglund Center Thursday night to be the first in line for tickets to see the legend.
The rock and roll hall of famer is coming to the Star City March 18th.

The Berglund Center general manager said since the box office opened, the lines have been steady. Management can track online ticket sales and say people from all over, some from California, Washington, and Oregon, have purchased their Elton John tickets.
The renowned artist is known for his universal music he's performed over five decades.
"Everybody can relate to him," said Berglund Center General Manager Robyn Schon. "He's crossed every socioeconomic demographic category that you can possibly imagine. It's just amazing how...what a cross over artist he is."
Management said they're expecting to sell out; the arena seats 10,000 people.
