ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - A man was released from the hospital after being stabbed during a fight at TGI Fridays on Saturday, March 7.
Roanoke Police said they responded to a report of fighting inside the TGI Fridays restaurant in the 4800 block of Valley View Boulevard NW just after midnight. Dispatch said there were reports of several individuals involved in the altercation and that weapons might be involved.

When officers arrived, they could not locate anyone injured at the scene. Employees told officers there were several individuals involved in a fight in the bar area.
Officers were also told someone might have been stabbed and that shots were fired in the parking lot.
Officers found a drop of what appeared to be blood inside the restaurant, as well as small amounts of what appeared to be blood outside. Officers collected samples and recovered a single shell casing in the parking lot.
As officers were still processing evidence at TGI Fridays, they were dispatched to the 2700 block of Florida Avenue NW to investigate a stabbing. Dispatchers said that it may be related to the incident at TGI Fridays.
The victim, a 29-year-old man from Roanoke, was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Detectives interviewed the victim following his release from the hospital. The victim confirmed that he was stabbed at the restaurant before leaving the scene. The case is under investigation.
