DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Internship opportunities are being offered once again at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in Danville.
The summer internship program is paid for by the IALR Foundation and the program is for rising high school seniors and above.

Internships offer on-the-job experience for those interested in pursuing science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers. Six openings are available: 3 in the Center for Sustainable and Renewable Resources, 2 in the Advanced Learning Department and 1 in the Information Technology Department. The program begins in June and will end by the first week of August.

College students entering their sophomore year and above are encouraged to apply for these and other internships through the Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP) which links undergraduate STEM students to paid summer internship positions with companies throughout Virginia. Please visit: www.csiip.org. IALR will accept the CSIIP application in lieu of the IALR application.
