Wind, showers, and even some storms as we start April
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY
We have rather mild days to end the week, but the wind keeps us on our toes. Gusts reach 40 mph on Friday with some to 30 mph on Saturday. Both days have a mix of sun and clouds with temperature rising into the 70s. Showers hold off on Saturday, but clouds develop ahead of our next system.
EASTER SUNDAY AND MONDAY
A weak front brings sprinkles our way on Easter. With calmer wind and mild temperatures reaching the mid-70s most of the day is comfortable if a little cloudy.
That front develops into a stronger system as the week goes on. Showers are more likely on Monday as a warm front develops. Temperatures are steady with lots of clouds.
INTO NEXT WEEK
On Tuesday the cold front in that system causes storms to our west. We see showers with isolated storms particularly in our southern zones. Temperatures stay mild through Tuesday before the front passes.
On Wednesday the front moves east bringing more wind and cold air. Highs drop to the 50s with lows back in the 30s by Thursday.
