Vehicle fire causing delays on Interstate 81 near Roanoke

Fire is at mile marker 139, two miles south of downtown Salem exit

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – Drivers should avoid going south on Interstate 81 near Roanoke as a vehicle fire has shut down one lane.

The fire is at mile maker 139 and has closed the southbound right lane and right shoulder.
