Two arrested in Daleville on meth, marijuana charges

Duo arrested during routine traffic stop

DALEVILLE, Va. – Authorities arrested two people on multiple drug charges in Daleville on Saturday.

Botetourt County sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Roanoke Road and discovered a large number of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash and a firearm, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office.

Eric Richard Henegar, 44, of Henry, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, driving with a revoked license and having forged or altered license tags.

Kimberly Ann Henegar, 45, also of Henry, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of Schedule IV drugs.

Both are currently being held in the Botetourt-Craig Regional Jail.

Additional charges are expected, according to the release.
