Roanoke man arrested after Monday morning stabbing

44-year-old arrested Monday afternoon

ROANOKE, Va. – Roanoke Police are investigating after a man walked into the emergency room saying he had been stabbed.

Police say the stabbing happened about 6 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of Woods Ave SW.

Jeremy Daniel Graves, 44, of Roanoke, was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with malicious wounding.

Police say Charles Fisher, 55, was stabbed in the upper body on Woods Avenue, which police say was his home.

Graves was taken to the Roanoke City Jail.
