ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – Roanoke County police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store.
Officers responded to the Mount Pleasant Quick Mart on Jae Valley Road around 9:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say a man wearing a mask came into the store with a gun and demanded money from the clerk. The masked man ran off after taking an unknown amount of cash.
The robber is described only as a white man who was wearing a black hoodie, jeans, and black sneakers.
