GILES COUNTY – UPDATE:
Virginia State Police said Mark Edward Mays was killed in the crash on Route 460 Friday night. Police said the 46-year-old is from Fort Meyers, Florida.

Investigators said he was traveling westbound on Route 460 when he lost control. He went up an embankment and was ejected from the vehicle.

Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Route 460 in Giles County.
Police say they received the call on Friday at 9:38 p.m.
Investigators say a vehicle traveling along Rt. 460 ran off the road and overturned.
The driver died at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released.
Virginia State Police are still investigating.
