Vehicle fire causes major backup on I-81 South in Wythe County

WYTHE COUNTY, Va. – A vehicle fire is causing a major backup on I-81 in Wythe County on Thursday.

The southbound right lane is blocked at mile marker 82.5, which is near the I-77 interchange. 

There is a 5-mile backup as of 5:15 p.m.
