CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – A man was arrested Sunday in connection with an attempted armed robbery of a restaurant.
According to Christiansburg police, Gary Bishop of Christiansburg was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted armed robbery and one count of use of a firearm while committing a felony.

Police said they reported to Long John Silver's on Roanoke Street around 6 p.m. Sunday, after they say a man with a mask entered the restaurant.
The masked man then brandished a gun and demanded money.
Bishop was arrested a short time later at his home.
No one was injured.
According to police, no money was taken from the restaurant.
Bishop is being held at Montgomery County Jail without bond.
