Pulaski Police asking for help finding missing, endangered man

Hanks was last seen on video in the area of Food Lion on East Main Street

PULASKI, Va. – Pulaski Police are asking for help finding 33-year-old Paul Hanks. They say he is missing and endangered.

Hanks was last seen on video in the area of Food Lion on East Main Street in Pulaski on Monday around 7:45 a.m.

Police say Hanks was walking and appeared to be heading towards the Hiwassee/Allisonia area on the New River Trail. There were possible sightings of Hanks on the trail at about 9:00 am. Hanks used to live in that area and is known to frequent caves off of the trail.

Hanks can be described as a white male, 5′11, 180lbs, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie or jacket, blue jeans, and a small backpack.
