NC State adds Ledford as OL coach, run game coordinator

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina State has added Dwayne Ledford to its coaching staff.

Coach Dave Doeren said Thursday that Ledford will be the Wolfpack’s offensive line coach and run game coordinator.

Ledford spent the past four years coaching the offensive line at Appalachian State and coordinated the Mountaineers’ run game since 2013. Appalachian State has averaged 257 yards rushing per game during the past two seasons.

Ledford was a defensive lineman who played for five teams during an NFL career that spanned from 1999-2006.

He replaces Mike Uremovich, who’s now the offensive coordinator at Northern Illinois.
