Grayson Highlands park ranger retiring after 42 years

GRAYSON COUNTY (WSLS 10) - A park ranger will retire after working for more than 40 years Grayson Highland State Park.

Roy Kilby started in his 20s in the 1970s as a part-time seasonal maintenance ranger and worked his way up to a full-time park ranger.

He played a key role in the installation of the park's water and electric campsites in the mid-90s and keeping the park's main road open during heavy snow.
