(WSLS 10) - A new trial date is expected to be set today for Natalie Keepers. Keepers is charged with accessory before the fact in the murder of 13 year-old Nicole Lovell. Both Keepers and David Eisenhauer, who is charged with first degree murder, were in court earlier this month, arguing several motions, including whether cameras will be allowed in the courtroom. The judge ruled that cameras will be allowed during the trail. Eisenhauer trial is scheduled to start in November.

Today is the deadline to file for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan for those affected by flooding in June of last year. Loans up to $2 million are available for businesses and non-profits located in Greenbrier, Alleghany, Bath, Craig, Giles and Highland Counties.

Patrick Henry Community College cuts the ribbon on a new food pantry today. It is the first community college pantry to partner with Feeding America Southwest Virginia. The college is opening the it after instructors and family members voiced concerns about students who were going hungry. The pantry will be open on Mondays and Wednesday for students enrolled at the school.

The Roanoke Valley Greenway Commission holds a meeting today as it looks to update its greenway plan. The plan was last updated in 2007. Since then, over 200 miles of trails have been added and Botetourt County joined the commission. Today's meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Mountain View Elementary School in Roanoke County.

Lynchburg's Water Resources Department holds a public meeting tonight about the Tinbridge Hill Utility Replacement project. Water lines will be replaced and new meter boxes will be installed on Jackson, Polk, Monroe, Taylor, Hollins, Garland and First Streets. Work is expected to start next Monday. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Yoder Center.

Leesville Road between Mount Sterling Road and Greenview Drive will see lane closure today through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will perform utility work.

The Patrick Henry High School Chamber Orchestra performs today at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. The students have practiced every day before school and taken private lessons to get ready for this chance. Sophomore musician Maya Ingram says, "it's such a big deal to go there, it's like Carnegie Hall but a lot closer and its really like such an honor to play there since really big musicians play there."  The performance will be streamed online.
