Police investigating armed convenience store robbery in South Boston

SOUTH BOSTON (WSLS 10) - South Boston police are looking for the man believed to be responsible for an armed robbery at an Apple Market.

On Wednesday, just after 10 p.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the convenience store on Seymour Drive.

An employee reported that a slender black man, about 6-feet-2-inches-tall, wearing a dark blue jacket and faded blue jeans, came into the store with face concealed by a white cloth over his head with eye holes.

The man pulled out a handgun and demanded money, according to police, and after receiving the money, he then ran away.
