FRANKLIN COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Franklin County Sheriff's Office recently celebrated the retirement of two of its deputies.
Sheriff Bill Overton spoke about the work and dedication of Dan and Don Hale and commented on the support of their spouses.

Dan, 26 years of service, and Don, nine years of service, had their families in attendance.
Other deputies spoke on their time working side by side with these two gentlemen.
Sheriff Overton stated to both, his prayers for their success moving forward.
The ceremony ended with a special cake, refreshments and lots of stories.
