Virginia Tech falls to Wisconsin in first round 84-74

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WSLS 10) – In its first March Madness appearance in 10 years, 9-seed Virginia Tech lost to 8-seed Wisconsin 84-74.

Although the Hokies kept things close the entire game, they lost the lead with 11:49 left in the 1st Half and never regained it.

Zach LeDay fouled out with 26.1 seconds left in the game, leading the Hokies with 23 points.

8-seed Wisconsin now advances to play 1-seed Villanova on Saturday.
