Roanoke County Students create their own Beauty and the Beast production

ROANOKE COUNTY (WSLS10)– As Disney fans gear up for the new live-action Beauty and the Beast to debut at the box office this weekend, a group of students in Roanoke County will be performing their own version of the famous fairy tale.

More than 60 students from Glenvar Middle and High Schools and Cave Spring High School are all teaming up for the first time ever, in the production of Beauty and the Beast Jr.

The performances kick off Thursday, March 16 with a 7 p.m. show. There are performances on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and a matinee show on Saturday afternoon.
