Hokies fall to Florida State in ACC Quarterfinals

NEW YORK (WSLS 10) - The 2-seed Florida State Seminoles knocked the Virgina Tech Hokies out of the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament on Thursday night, 74-68.

After leading 35-33 at the half, the Hokies were outscored 41-33 in the second half. In that half, Florida State went on a 18-1 run to change the score from trailing 52-50 to leading 68-53 with 4:01 remaining in the game.

Zach LeDay led Tech with 22 points, followed by Seth Allen's 17.

For the Seminoles, Dwayne Bacon's 17 points led the way, while Jonathan Isaac was the only member of either team to register a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Florida State advances to the semifinal match against the winner of Thursday night's Notre Dame/UVA game.
